French Toast variations

I have been experimenting with french toast. While it is a right tasty dish with just dipping the bread in the egg batter it still leaves room for improvement. I have tried crushing cereals in to the batter and then dipping the bread. Try it with your favorite cereal. Most anything from corn flakes, honey bunches of oats, rice krispies for other flavors will produce a good variety and change of taste.

You might want to bake it rather that fry it though. It make a crunchy texture when baked and the children will love it.
